Covered Buttons Accessories
Covered buttons are so awesome and versatile for creating crafts and accessories, something which i discovered by chance while searching for pretty buttons for my tote bags and brainstorming for quick project ideas for my craft markets.ย They are also easy to make on a weekend and can be used in a wide variety of crafts such as hair accessories, earrings, garments, bags, toys and more.ย Making these buttons is also an excellent way to use up my fabric scraps, which really helps to clear junk off my craft room!ย LOL

I’ve since created and sold hundreds of accessories using fabric buttons, some of my favourite items being earrings, hair accessories and badges. Fabric buttons are created using merely metal button kits, which sell at $2 a pack from Daiso.ย They come in a variety of sizes such as 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 27mm and 38mm.ย There are about 10 – 20 metal buttons in each kit, depending on sizes.ย Each kit comes with metal buttons with shank backs, template and tools.

Some of my most popular items include Christmas-themed items made using fabric buttons.ย My favourite is the 12 Days of Christmas fabric buttons, which is available in three different colours.ย They are available in my Etsy store at https://www.etsy.com/sg-en/listing/166489462/27mm-106-inch-christmas-buttons-fabric.

These gorgeous button earrings come in different sizes and designs.

Look at how pretty these accessories look when worn!
